Dr. Dasirae Sieh, who goes by Dasi, completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Wayne State College before pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln. Following the achievement of her DDS, Dr. Sieh continued to advance her education by completing residences in both hospital general dentistry and oral surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha and the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN respectively.
Dr. Dasi Sieh grew up in rural Nebraska, just outside of Stanton, where she graduated high school. She loves spending time with family and friends outdoors and attending live sporting events and concerts. She also loves getting lost in a good book, and occasionally, dabbles on the piano. Heping with free dental extraction clinics has also become a passion of hers in recent years.
It's no secret that the surgical side of dentistry is the area of the field Dr. Dasi Sieh enjoys most, but most people do not know that the surgery side is what has always sparked her interest in the field of dentistry, even before she knew what she was getting into. Her passion of surgery has only grown as she completed more training. Some may say her livelihood is "like pulling teeth" and that's just the way she likes it.
Dr. Dasi Sieh is quite passionate about education. There is the obvioius "learning" side of education that has led her down a path of choosing high quality educational institutions and programs thus far, but the less obvious side of the education is the "teaching" aspect. Dr. Dasi Sieh hails form a long family line of educators, and that passion to teach is just in her blood. From walking patients through what to expect with a procedure to post-operative instructions, she is always one to share a little bit of knowledge to make things a little more comfortable. She also loves sharing her tips and tricks with the next generation of dentists whenever she gets a chance!
