Dawn was born and raised in Norfolk. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from UNO she went on to receive an Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Madison College in Madison, WI. Dawn is married to her husband, Erik, and they have three children, Mariah, Noah and Jaxon and a dog named Margie. In the summer, her family enjoys camping and spending time outside. Dawn also enjoys gardening and canning veggies in the fall.
